thank you Dawn, I have to say Im so confused about this relationship that the more I try to understand what is going on the more I become confused..but then again Im thinking once the transiting Saturn moves out of my 12th house I might be able to see things in a different light, who knows. I will wait and see what happens. thanks again :)

When you're dealing with anything in astrology, you have to come to terms with the fact that hard aspects beat out soft ones. We don't really feel our trines and sextiles, they're just there, helping us, humming in the background. The hard aspects make themselves known. His Saturn making good aspects to your planets/angles stabilizes you and helps you mature. However, his Saturn square your Nodes (remember that BOTH nodes are involved) is a very significant aspect. In order for you to evolve, you need to deal with his Saturn. Sometimes it may be supportive and sometimes it may feel oppressive. Sometimes you'll feel as if he's helping you grow and other times it may just feel like a drag. If he has Saturn 'issues' himself (i.e. he has a hard time with responsibility), then these difficulties will be something you'll have to deal with, too. It all depends on what Saturn is doing in each of the natal charts.

hello Dawn, I have a question about my NN in a synastry with my boyfriend...My NN in Vrgo is square his Saturn in Sag., but at the same time my Mercury in Leo is exact trine his Saturn. I was told that this is an aspect of separation /NN+Saturn/ but then I think, when there is Mercury trine Saturn, it shouldnt be that bad, but Im not sure..I was just wondering what it means, Im a bit confused. his saturn is also sextile my ascendant /and natally his Saturn is sextile his sun and mercury/.
thank you very much, kat..

"Pluto trumps Saturn all the time."

This is interesting. The minute you "said" it (wrote it) it was clear, but I never thought of that before.

My NN (2nd H.) is in Capricorn, ruled by Saturn in Cancer (and opposes it), squared by Pluto in Libra. Saturn is in my 8th (which I "blame" for my interest in astrology) and Pluto on my 11th (my long term goals change, from time to time, and suddenly I want to be - or do - something else).

Pluto trumping Saturn, hum, I like it - but I always liked Pluto.
