hi Dawn,

very nice article again! I just like to know what about oppositions? My moon opposes my friends chiron, but my friends moon sextile my chiron. Does this mean that heis moon can be a good influence (healer) on my chiron but my moon can not help his? Because i really do not want to hurt his feelings? What is interesting that we have about 4 aspects between planets in each of our charts but only his planets make a harmonius aspects with my planets but my planets are either opposition or semi square. Does it mean i can not have a good healing affect on him? (altough that is true even his harmonius aspects in a way very smoothing on me because i feel his very caring nature but it is still painful because the whole case is complicated! But the point is that I do not want to hurt him any further only help him. Does it mean what you said that usually one of the partners are more aware! Does it mean it is his chiron because he has the harmonius aspects with my planets? Thank you Dawn!

The best route for Neptune is loving unconditionally, and that might mean loving without actually having the person in your life. You have a powerful attraction with that Sun/Mars conjunction, but the charts need more than that for a successful partnership. I would need to have all the data to comment further.

I am having a mutual aspects where my chiron conjuns his Neptune and his chiron/venus conj trines my neptune. this person is much younger then me, his sun/mars conj sits on my 7th house cusp. He is younger then my son and he doesn't care about the age difference his uranus opp venus/chiron. I know Neptune plays a role in love but the realtionship has a mind of it's own and my heart loves him without regard to our age difference. I hope the best for us both comes out of this interaction. Any tthoughts on this?

If it were simply a connection between your Chiron and his Sun, Mercury, Mars, I would say that he could act as a guide for you to heal your Chiron issues, whatever they may be. The Sun can be a very healing force on the Chiron person, and can shed light on issues you may not know are holding you back from fully being yourself. He may give the impression of being the kind of person who can do everything you cannot, and yet he senses your vulnerability and doesn't take advantage of it. You may also see things in him that you have the potential to heal and teach. However, this can get touchy if he continues to fly and you are left limping (Chiron) in the background. Chiron provides wisdom and understanding, but sometimes those people who have planets conjunct our Chiron do not sense our value, and sometimes, our Chiron can act as a nagging force, making them feel as though they aren't good enough the way they are.

With Chiron on the South Node, these issues of healing and teaching may have happened between you in previous lives, and you have an opportunity to correct any mishaps or misunderstandings that may have occurred previously.

It's impossible to judge the soli-lunar midpoint without looking at the positions of the sun and moon and their phasal relationship. However, the Chiron person may feel responsible for the growth of the other individual, and may provide support and sustenance at great sacrifice to him or herself. He or She may be a teacher or a guide. The solar return ascendant falling there merely activates this theme for the year.

I really enjoyed reading this article. You explain Chiron in such a way that helps me embrace the pain with hope and determination. Reassuring me that like the pheonix I will rise out of the ashes new, stronger, and healed. Thank you so much for providing this information for people like me. You are a great teacher of astrology and your understanding of the planets is remarkable. Although it doesn't take the pain away atleast I now have a better understanding of this process I'm going through. My ascendant is in Taurus conjunct chiron which is also Opposite venus in scorpio in 7th house. My ex-partner also has chiron in taurus in the 3rd house square his ascendant Opposite his moon and mercury and trine his venus in capricorn, In synastry his chiron is opposite my moon, venus and saturn, And my chiron is opposite his sun, mercury and uranus. I really don't know what none of that means, but reading your article gave me a better understanding of chiron and why I feel like this guy is slowing but not even intentionally hurting me. Thanks again.

Thank you all for sharing....
I´d like to understand A´s chiron exact conjunction with B´s sun/moon midpoint. And what if the solar return ascendant ist also exactly on this point?
Any clues?

Interesting. I just recently noticed I have strong chiron placements with several significant relationships. The first two were north node conjunct chiron: one was a composite north node conjunct my chiron, the second was my north node conjunct his chiron... the last is pluto (mine) conjunct (their) chiron.

So with the NN/Chiron. In the Composite NN/My Chiron relationship... there are also strong synastry and transitory NN connections (as well as South Node connections). This relationship has transformed many times. Though the hurts seemed to hit me harder, I feel that the relationship has also set me on a path of profound healing and evolution. It has also connected me to my higher purpose and he, his. What is interesting is that now it is evolving yet again into some semblance of peace after many years of difficulties. How this affected me... well, it unearthed all the issues associated with my chiron in gemini... and has now allowed me to work on those hurts and imbalances so that they better serve me.

The other Chiron NN relationship has manifested interestingly too. This person was instrumental on my path. There are several things happening in our synastry that relate, but largely, it seemed that he really felt vulnerable around me. At first this was great. I used to go to him for help in various healing capacities (as a confidant, and he was even literally a healer) but the growth that I gained from the relationship was largely related to his hurts. I saw how they didn't serve him (or me) with incredible clarity. Sadly, this became too much for him... and it ended painfully, but it taught me a great deal and really gave me the next step of that north node karmic path. Several of the lessons I learned in that relationship were integral to overcoming many of the difficulties associated with my north node, so in a sense, it was very good for me.

The final relationship is still a new one but I see it manifesting. I came here for some clarification but I'll just put down what I feel thusfar. This person's taurus nn is conjunct my sun and his chiron is conjunct my pluto in scorpio. As I get to know him more it is more and more evident that my role in his life pertains to healing deep, even unacknowledged hurts of past relationships. We have a gigantic age difference so this sort of blows me away... but yet it's there.

anyway, I just wanted to share some of my experiences in case it helped others who have the same conjunctions :)

Hello, ES. I'm going to have articles on Chiron/Sun and Chiron/Angles up very soon. The Moon/Chiron connection is one of the most painful, because we never feel validated for who we are in our unique experience. When Chiron is involved with the Ascendant, Chiron experiences of rejection, being an outsider and being ostracized for our knowledge (and self-knowledge) begin to define who we are. Chiron on any angle carries the hope of evolution and growth, but that feeling of being the outsider in your own environment will always be there, hovering in the background.
