Hi again Dawn,

I wonder if mars-saturn-moon combo in a woman's charts acts similarly? I have saturn-opposition mars and saturn-trine moon in my chart, and I felt like a mother of my mother..

.Well, your last sentences hit the cord, I know from experience that when I put these energies (mars-saturn) together, I am quite instoppable. But it's very rare, and most of the times I don't know where to go and hit the invisible walls. I also have a sun-neptune opposition and it's very difficult for me to know what my soul truly needs due to this neptunian fog...Any advice?

The colours will not change, for reasons I have laid out here before. You may find it easier to read the site if you increase the size of the font, which you can do in the upper right corner.

Yes, a lot has to do with losing control and abandonment. But some of it has to do with fearing what the soul actually requires of us, which often means stripping us away from the ego's desires. It's often frightening to face the truth of yourself. Even if we hear the sound of our own drummer, we often turn away.

Now thinking about that Neptune. All the confusion also gets projected onto me. My natal Sun Neptune square is activated too, and I tend to be a bit lost and fuzzy when I see him.

Thanks Dawn. Your insight is always very appreciated.

I didn't know what to make of it. Most of the materials I have come across interpret these aspects separately and focus too much on the sexual manifestation and not enough on the psychological. (Except for Liz Greene's)

Is the fear of Saturn/Pluto mainly stem from the fear of losing control and abandonment?

Fortunately and unfortunately for me, I don't give up easily. Pluto is also in Scorpio in the 8th....

I would think it would only confuse the issue. It's bad enough when you do know what you want, but if you don't, you can get into real hot water with these aspects. Far from relieving the pressure, Neptune's influence would only add a good dose of fog to the mix, so a person ends up not really knowing what he wants. (Trines represent 'flow' but they are not always the good guys. Sometimes trines add fuel to a fire.)

Pluto/Saturn opposite an Aries Mars would be very difficult to live with. Every time you followed your Mars and reached out impulsively in an Aries way, your soul would be pulling you back into your fears of relating, and you would feel as if everything you have would crumble if you let go. Pluto/Saturn doesn't let us build anything that isn't directly connected to the soul rather than the ego, but Mars is all about the ego. Very challenging, especially in relationships. You want to go your own way and be independent (Aries) but you are forced to face the very thing that terrifies you (being involved in the compromise of relationship. Your progressed Sun on his natal Mars, plus all your natal Scorpio planets, should teach him how to reconcile these inner conflicts, but unless he's ready and willing to learn and compromise, whatever is between you may be to hot to handle right now.

Forgot to mention that there is also a trine from Neptune to Mars to ease the opposition a bit.
