Yes, I'll be writing more on Ceres very soon. I began a series on her over a year ago, and stopped because my new understanding of her was coming thick and fast. It's true that Ceres is about feeling nurtured and 'fed' (by anything or any one) but she is also about accepting the great rituals of life, the ebb and the flow, the fat and the lean. Ceres in synastry can lead to many issues about 'who feeds who' in the charts. The person who does the feeding has the power of life or death over us--and Ceres can go fantastically deep into the psyche. So stay tuned. More will come.

thanks for replying, I will have to contact you for a reading at some stage. Can't wait for the rest of the series :) (and others of course!) you've mentioned earlier that you might be writing more on ceres in synastry? There seems to be a recurring theme of ceres- venus conjunctions and/or ceres to angle contacts in my relationships. I understand you can't explain any of this here but would be curious to know what the deal is with that.
Thanks again.

I'm trying to stay away from interpreting individual planets in houses, but Pluto squaring an 8th house Sun relates to transformation of psychic material, as you've said, but it also could dredge up power issues sound sex and expression of creative energy. The relationship could be primarily sexual and centered around the proper use of the natural kundalini energy that forms when the two are together. Psychic delving is part of the creative process. The Sun is very playful in the fifth; children might be a central issue, and might bring up issues of who's in charge.

Hi, Cat. I'm sorry, but I would need to look at the whole chart to really interpret this. The fixed houses are very important creatively and sexually. With Jupiter, there might be a tendency to go too far, which then would degenerate to power issues and sexual games. With other aspects involved, this could be a very positive T-square. It depends on how it fits in with the other planets.

Wow.. I cant wait to read what you have to say on the sixth house as you have mentioned :)

Even though you wrote about the sixth house of a Composite chart ...I could definitely relate it to what my own sixth house placements mean natally. This definitely rings a bell!! (curious to know something on the node placements here natally )

After reading so much elsewhere about it showing dogs, cats, pets, servants , food , job, routine.. this is such a satisfying read.

Hi Dawn,
Loving this series.
My partner and I have a 5th house mars tightly squared pluto in the 8th and also jupiter in 2nd. From what I have read above that sounds rather bleak! Any suggestions on how to cope with these aspects?

Hi Dawn
am loving this composite series - really interesting to see how differently one interprets the houses from the natal chart.

How would you interpret outer planet Pluto in the fifth house - especially when it has a tight square to the composite Sun which is ironically in the eighth? - apart from this relationship is going to involve a lot of transformation of the deepest psychic material ?
