MARCH 2012
Pleased to announce that I'm writing a new monthly column for Sasstrology.com called, "Synastry Studies with Dawn Bodrogi." New posts will be up on the 14th of every month. Hope to see you all there.
TWO new classes announced, DEEP CUTS and JOURNEYS THROUGH GENIUS. Both will begin in APRIL. More details soon.
PROGRESSIONS TWO, for those of you who have taken PROGRESSIONS ONE, will begin in April. PROGRESSIONS TWO focuses on using progressions in synastry.
Summer will bring us to a course on interpreting the asteroids and using the asteroids in synastry, There will also be a more detailed course on using the Draconic chart. Stay tuned.
The NASA probe "Dawn" has just sent back the first pictures from Vesta, a strange and wonderful place. You can see them here:

All Things Healing is picking up my four part series on The Music of the Spheres for the month of August. The pieces will appear each week beginning Friday the 5th for four weeks (www.allthingshealing.com). Thanks to Patricia Lantz, their hardworking astrology editor!
Details for Progressions Two: Progressions in Synastry will be up soon. Stay tuned!
June 24th: Paula Morgan is the winner of a free Off The Cuff reading in The Widening Gyre Subscriber Contest. Congratulations, Paula, and thanks to everyone who subscribed to the Gyre. We'll be having more of these in the future.
June 14th:
Thanks to Patricia Lantz, astrology editor at All Things Healing.com, for picking up my recent articles on the Saturn/Progressed Moon cycle. If you haven't taken a look at All Things Healing recently, please do. There is a lot of helpful information there about everything from healthy recipes to finding alternative practitioners. It's worth taking a stroll through all the quality information they have on offer.
June 12th:
Very honored to be mentioned in Mary Plumb's round-up of astrology blogs in the new edition of The Mountain Astrologer. I've been reading TMA for many years and seeing my name there is a bit of a surreal treat. Thanks for including The Inner Wheel, Mary!
June 3rd:
Happy to announce that The Inner Wheel is way up at number 11 in the list of "Best Astrology Blogs" according to Alexa ranking. Thanks, everyone, for returning and making it so popular. I'm in stellar company. Let's see if we can crack the top ten...
June 2nd, 2011:
The first edition of The Widening Gyre is out!
May 24th, 2011:
I'm absolutely delighted to pass on a report from one of my students and friends, Neeti Ray: the NASA spacecraft "Dawn" (whoever heard of such a thing?) has just entered into the orbit of the asteroid Vesta. One for the synchronicity books. Affirmations from the universe...
Progressions Part Two will begin in August. Details to come...
It's possible that Progressions One will be offered in October. Stay tuned.
In the late summer there will be classes on Draconic Charts, the Major Asteroids, and more. Sign up for the Gyre to get discounts.
And for all of you who sent so much sympathy my way when my cat, Bee Gee, died last March, I'd like you to know that I've adopted an 8 week old tortoiseshell kitten, Paisley, who is a complete joy. Pictures will be in The Widening Gyre.
Astrologer's Overload continues, and it's making me rethink whether or not the world needs another weekly astrology round up. I've always prided myself on the fact that this site is a little on the quirky side--a little old-fogeyish, a little out there astrologically speaking, and The Sky This Week isn't really adding much to the astrological pool.
I'm going to write to a new column called "Art and Archetypes." I'll be analyzing current film, television, theatre, visual art, etc. in terms of archetypal content. It will allow me to indulge some passions that have little to do with astrology and at the same time keep everyone on their toes about how the archetypal energies play out in daily life.
But I will consider any and all suggestions. If there is anything you would like to see here, drop me an email. I don't think graphics play out in widgets, so anything within this box would have to be text only.
Thanks.
Dawn

To those of you who have subscribed to The Gyre, I'm sorry that new editions have not been out recently. I hope soon to have new content every month, and to continue the relationship column, Synastric Synapses. The Gyre will also continue to carry advance notice and discounts on classes and readings.
The next edition will have an article on Sacred Earth, which looks at the mystical element of the Earth signs.
