I’m happy to announce a new course: THE BASICS REDUX
Think Virgos are fussy, Cancers are maternal and Librans dither? We are just about to begin a new course of Basics in mid-March, 2012. Basics will not be taught again until the end of the year.

The Asteroid Journey: The Quest for Balance
A two-part class on the role the asteroids play in our day to day lives and in our relationships. We will explore the way the asteroids fill a major gap in the natal chart.
Part One–A Journey Towards Authenticity — This class will discuss the four major asteroids in relation to the Moon in the chart and their role in defining the mature feminine for both sexes.
Part Two–The Asteroids in Synastry–Explore the way the asteroids both guide us and get in the way of mature sexual exchange.
An Introduction to the Draconic Chart —
A One-Off Workshop class that is part workshop, part reading: $75 for one 105 minute session.
The Draconic Chart shows your life path from the point of view of your Nodes and your evolving consciousness, but is much more than that. The Draconic chart reveals the way we experience ourselves and how we define our inner truth. It shows our true reactions to ourselves and our environment, and is, at times, painfully intimate. Contacts between the Draconic chart and the natal show the true being beneath the surface of our lives. We will look at how to begin interpreting Draconic Charts both in the natal and in synastry.

Single tutoring/consulting sessions are still available at a rate of $50 per hour, depending on availability.
IN PLACE OF THE TUTORING SESSIONS, I HAVE COME UP WITH TWO MORE FORMAL COURSES IN NATAL INTERPRETATION, ON INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED LEVELS. MOST OF MY STUDENTS WERE INTERESTED IN CHART SYNTHESIS, AND THIS COURSE WILL FOCUS ON HOW TO REACH INTO THE HUMAN CORE OF THE CHART, SO THAT IT WILL NO LONGER BE A CHECKLIST OF CONFLICTING INFORMATION. THE BASICS, INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED COURSES WILL COVER ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW IN CHART INTERPRETATION.
DETAILS OF THE INTERMEDIATE COURSE, DEEP CUTS, WILL BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY, in the SPRING of 2012. DEEP CUTS WILL CONCENTRATE ON THE USE OF PLANETARY DISPOSITORS AND HOUSE RULERSHIPS TO UNCOVER UNIFYING THEMES IN THE CHART, AND WILL FOCUS ON CHART SYNTHESIS. DEEP CUTS WILL STEER YOU CLEAR OF EXPERIENCING ASTROLOGY AS A LIST OF ASPECTS, AND WILL HELP YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL BEHIND THE CHART.
The Following Three Classes Are Available by Appointment at Any Time:
The Story of the Nodes: A two part class in interpreting the Nodal axis is available at any time by appointment. The first part will focus on determining the direction of spiritual development from the Nodes and their rulers–the nodal ‘story.’ The second part will focus on the Nodes by progression and transit, and if there is time we will explore nodal contact between charts. $100 for two 75 minute classes.
Chiron in Synastry: Moving Beyond the Wound — This 2 part class will examine Chiron’s role in synastry and discuss the often complex physical, emotional and spiritual challenges that arise when it is prominent. This two part, two hour class is $75.
How to Love the Inner Male: Accessing the Sun, Mars and Saturn: An informal class on how to access the male archetypes in the chart and discover what they ask of us. Discover ways which we may unconsciously be holding ourselves back. Charts will be provided and personal charts will be discussed on a voluntary basis. The fee for this two part, two hour class is $75.

Advanced Courses:
The Advanced Synastry Course will be taught twice a year. Please see the archives for details. The next Advanced Synastry Course will be offered in AUTUMN 2012.
Soul Points in Synastry: Why does it feel like fate? This course takes a look at the more unusual compelling contacts between charts. We analyze three case studies using the more esoteric points and aspects in natal and composite charts: the Nodes, the Vertex, Draconic Charts, Coalescent Charts, harmonic charts and the five, seven and nine series of aspects.
The Secondary Progressions Courses:
Progressions One
Twice yearly, Dawn offers a series of lessons on how to read Secondary Progressions. The lessons consist of 6 hour long classes on reading the progressed chart in depth. Much of this information and technique is new (based on Dawn’s extensive research and experience in using the secondary progressed chart) and cannot be obtained elsewhere. The fee is [TBA] for six lessons plus an optional exam, and can be paid in two installments. The next beginning lessons in Secondary Progressions will be offered in JUNE/JULY 2012. PROGRESSIONS ONE IS A PREREQUISITE for PROGRESSIONS TWO, which involves progressions in synastry. No exceptions.

The Progressed Chart in Synastry– A Sample Course (Lessons to be determined, a typical course is as follows)
Part One: Finding a Partner
We all want to be in a relationship, but are we prepared? Being in a relationship is often a question of finding the right person at the right time. Are we as ready as we think we are? The progressed chart, more than any other indicator, is key to finding whether or not we are ripe to find that special someone.
Part Two: The Venus Cycle and Longevity
Part Three: The Sun/Moon Cycle, Endings and Beginnings
Includes discussion of sexual maturity as related to the cardinal signs and their rulers.
We all meet people who are stuck at an immature level of relating. This lesson focuses on the relationship between the Progressed Moon and transiting Saturn, and their role in developing sexual and psychological maturity. This includes a discussion of the inner planets in progression and the development of sexual identity.
Part Four: Crisis and Conflict
Learn how to spot the major relationship ‘tests’ via progression.
Part Five: Progressing the Composite Charts
Both the midpoint chart and the Davison charts are eye-openers when progressed. Also includes a discussion of the progressed Asteroids, the Vertex, the Black Moon, and the Soli-Lunar midpoint.
