Dawn Bodrogi / With a Heavy Heart

Dawn Bodrogi January 23, 2018

On behalf of Dawn Bodrogi’s family, it is with a heavy heart that we announce Dawn’s passing.  As some of you know Dawn had been battling chronic Lyme disease and had been in poor health. Please know dear readers that you brought Dawn joy and we hope her guidance and writing brought you wisdom.  For those of you who were looking forward to her publications, we are working on getting Dawn’s Foundations Course, consisting of Dawn Bodrogi lectures and self-study exercises, published by summer.  The course focuses on the essentials of chart analysis and will include a bonus section on chart synthesis. If you wish to purchase a copy or to share a memory please visit the Dawn Bodrogi Panegyric Page found on Facebook:    Going forward, we will use this page for updates.   Thank you all for the years of support and love, The Dawn Bodrogi Family.

  1. I’m sorry to read this sad news – my condolences. I never knew Dawn, but reading her articles here was really important and formative for me. Sending so many good wishes.

  2. i am very saddened by this news. i heard a couple weeks ago for the first time because i had my Facebook down to unplug and so did not see the first posting on her page. i just found dawn a couple years ago when i was going through a major progressed trigger of my natal venus square chiron. she had so much depth of insight astrologically and especially regarding chiron. she really helped me when i was very much stuck in my wound and having a hard time getting perspective (i am an astrologer but when it’s your own chart you often need outside help). i had a dream of dawn 2 nights ago and shared with her how sad i was she passed. i had taken 2 private courses with her and really enjoyed my time with her! i was out of touch since last summer as life was super busy but my intention was to take another course early this year with her. as a professional astrologer i like to constantly continue my studies and as an elder in the astrological field and someone whose work and insights i resonated with- i was so very happy to have found her. many blessings sent to dawn’s family and close friends- and much Love sent to the Bright Spirit and Old Soul that was dawn <3

  3. A bit heartbroken to hear to the sad news. Much love to Dawns family and close friends. An astrological master. I’m so glad to have found her and will always treasure her wisdom and insights. I will be forever thankful that she dragged me kicking and screaming into ways of looking at myself and the world through eyes of the divine. Thank you so much Dawn…Love and Light as always

  4. I’ve known of Dawn’s passing for several months now and i am still very much in shock and so, so sad!! She was sort of my spiritual teacher and go to person for hope and reassurance when times were tough. Her kindnes and wisdom were outworldly. She was such a skilled and knowledgable astrologer i am so glad that you will be continuing and spreading her work. It’s a treasure that i am glad it won’t be lost!
Sending much love and light to her family and close friends ❤️

  5. We will all miss you Dawn. It was a life changing time for me when at 18 I found your blog. There will never be another astrology writer like you who had the the generosity to share much of her knowledge for free.

To Dawn’s family, I would like you to know that if you ever appreciated astrology you would know that the knowledge she shared in this site is worth more than all the google pages you can search on any topic, and I know many readers would agree with me on this.

  6. Wow. I am very saddened by this news. She touched so many lives with her gifts. I loved her writings; a wise soul that I had such a deep connection with. I will miss getting her announcements on an upcoming class, but her writings and teachings on this website will forever live on.

  7. I would like to connect to some of Dawn’s student astrologers, to continue learning in Dawn’s tradition of progressions in astrology teaching, as I loved her style and amazing perspective. No one can easily follow in her path, but I would so appreciate connecting and/or working with one of her several knowledgeable students.
thank you. I loved her very much. She really helped me.
    She is missed.

  8. I connected with Dawn a couple of times a year and this was about that time, except not. What a glorious soul and one of the most brilliant astrologers AND writers of these times. My sincerest condolences to the Bodrogi family for your loss. I am looking forward to and will be grateful for any organized publication of her works – something I nagged her about. Hers was a quest for spiritual growth which trumped self-promotion. To my mind, her insightful writing stands with the best of any of our contemporary astrologers including Liz Greene and Stephen Arroyo and I nagged her about that, too. Along with the wisdom and advice she imparted to me, I still have the sound of her voice on every counseling session I had with her over several years. A gift I will treasure for the rest of my time on this earth. Bittersweet.

  9. Please do update us here when Dawn’s Foundations Course is available. For moral reasons some of us don’t use Facebook but would like to acquire her published works.

    Condolences to her family.

  10. Thanks for the follow-up. Looking forward to the release of the course when it is available. My best wishes to Dawn’s family & friends.

  11. Dawn helped me with astrological guidance after the death of my husband. I feel the loss of Dawn deeply. If the family needs help with graphic design or proofreading of her book, I will help gratis. I would also be so grateful to be in contact with some of her students, to further my understanding of astrology and my progressions. Thank you.

  12. I am deeply saddened by reading about Dawn’s passing. I am eternally grateful to her. Her readings have been nothing less than a compass for a very important time in my life. My deepest condolences to the Bodrogi family.

  13. My deepest condolence. I was so shocked and saddened on hearing of Dawn’s passing. She has been so helpful to me as I transitioned to being a singer. I still listen to her readings as it continues to guide me. Her voice will always remain in my memory. Thank for sharing her work. Warmly, Jean

  14. I’m so saddened and shocked to learn about Dawn’s passing. I was about to recommend her to a friend when I found this page. Her readings helped me many times and her classes were awesome. Dawn, thank you for everything. You are missed. Best wishes to her family.

Also, I hope her works will be published soon – they deserve to live on. I hope some information will be published from her Alchemy class as well.

  15. I join myself to the chorus of condolences. Dawn has been an enlightitng presence in the life of many of us. May her journey continue in light and peace.

  16. I discovered Dawn’s blog only recently, and I immediately found myself immersed in her articles.

I’d like to offer my sincerest and deepest condolences to her family for their loss.

I feel so very thankful to Dawn for sharing some of her thoughts, wisdom and knowledge on Astrology with us. I’m really sorry that I didn’t know of her sooner, as I recognise through her articles a true initiate that could have helped me shed some light in my own studies through her courses.

To her family, thank you for keeping this blog online and open for all. And if I may, I’d like to ask whether there is some way to have access to Dawn’s material of her classes / courses.

Dawn, may you have found your way to your own bright star.
    Sic itur ad astra…*

  17. I was blessed on one occasion to be the recipient of Dawn’s insight into my birth chart. The experience was transforming. She gave me the permission I so needed to commit to becoming the being I was brought to Earth to be. One of my life regrets will be to have not known more of Dawn. Her wisdom, insight, transparency, authenticity and resolve were and will continue to be an inspiration for me. Thank you, Dawn. You changed my life.

  18. Reading this update on Dawns passing (which I read last year) kind of broke my heart a little. I only read her blog here and there but she felt like a long time friend for some reason. Reading her words were intriguing, soothing and opening – overall she was a mystical blessing! I would love to be able to access her courses or other publications. I only wish I had connected with her sooner during her time with us. Thinking of you Dawn, much love xo

  19. I have been out of the astrology loop a while, and was really sad to hear she’d passed. What a lovely soul and wonderful talent she was. God bless.

  20. Dawn was one of my favorite voices in astrology. She had a way with words that cut straight through me and made me feel seen and intimately understood, even though we never met or corresponded. I coincidentally came across the update on her passing last year a few days after the announcement, but I still come back to this blog to check for updates, and also to read through old articles and blog entries. I would buy a book even if it was just a published series of unorganized blog posts. Her insight will be missed.

  21. I am really really sorry to read that. The way she wrote showed not only astrological knowledge but a deep and essential understanding of the human nature. I am really sorry….

  22. I have been reading Dawn`s articles for a long time, but by chance came to realize only recently she has passed…
Such a beautiful soul… A lot of her insights helped me sort out my own thoughts and often provided not only knowledge, but also comfort and hope.
Dear Dawn, thank you for your guidance… You will be remembered.

  23. I found Dawn and this site when I began studying astrology in August, 2015; and, of course, her teachings were far beyond my comprehension, but I was dazzled. I have continued to return over the years and (while *deeply saddened to learn of her passing 😓) I am newly-amazed at the depth of her wisdom each time I do.

Thank you *so much for posting her unpublished essays, and God bless.

  24. Hello, I came across this website while searching for bleeding-edge astrology tech. Dawn wrote like an amazing Astrologer, and I wanted to express my gratitude to her spirit. It is unfortunate that I come with this information now instead of before she passed, but the Water of Shiva will cure basically any disease given that one has a few weeks/months left to go through a Water of Life fast. But, at least, now everyone reading this knows how to deal with incorrectly labeled “lethal diseases”; simply drink the Water of Shiva without eating for a few weeks. Refer to John Armstrong’s book “The Water of Life” for more info and real-life exemples of terminal cancer patients becoming healthier than theyve been in decades in a couple months. Much love to Dawn, and to you All. Our Awareness lives forever, and always was. And research “flat earth” on rumble dot com, if you feel like waking up to a giant lie. Good luck. Cheers.
